About the event
Taste of Harlingen is the annual fundraiser for the Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum. It is hosted by the RGV Museum Association, a 501 c 3 not for profit organization of volunteers. The event raises funds through sponsorships, ticket sales and silent auction item purchases. Proceeds are used for the repair and maintenance of Harlingen's historic buildings located on the Museum property.
The event is held in the Museum courtyard surrounded by the historic buildings. This year live music by the band "Texas Storm" play country songs while patrons enjoy food from local restaurants, bid on silent auction items, have fun at the open photo booth and receive a souvenir photo strip.
